Area rugs can be an investment, which is why I leaned on reviews with pictures when I was looking for rugs for our home. You will find plenty of photos as well as a description of the colors in the specific Loloi rug we have.

The Loloi Priya/Amanda Area Rug
When I began looking to replace our living room area rug, it was challenging to find pictures that showed a rug in its true colors. I like marketing photos as much as it helps get a sense of the pattern, but I prefer when a rug is displayed in a real home. I find rug colors to be more accurately depicted in natural light.
I came across a lovely rug photographed in a primary bedroom designed by one of my favorite interior design firms, Bria Hammel Interiors.
With soft blues, creams, beige, and what looked like a pinky-terracotta color, I thought the gorgeous rug may work in our living room. I thought it definitely fit into my chosen color palette I use throughout our home.

Important: A Word of Caution!
Every screen you view anything on online may be a different color than the real color is in person. All of my photos are filtered and adjusted to fit my brand identity, including brightening the image. That means the actual rug will look slightly different in person. While the pictures provided will give you a very good idea of what to expect, be aware that variation in color will occur.
I found the rug on Wayfair, listed as the Loloi Amanda Natural/Blue area rug. On some sites it is known as the Priya rug (PRY-05 Natural/Blue), including Loloi's own website.
Loloi is a well-known rug manufacturer that has also released many collaborations with interior designers and content creators over the years, including Chris Loves Julia, Amber Lewis, and Jean Stoffer. They offer rugs at a wide range of price points, rug sizes, and material composition - from 100% wool to cotton to blends.

Colors in the Priya Rug
Loloi's Priya rug is marketed as vintage overdyed, containing colors in light blues and beige. I found the colors to be true to the pictures on the designer's website. I would go further to say it has a pinky-terracotta color in it as well that gives it depth and keeps it from feeling flat color wise. Also, I find this Loloi rug to be a bit of a chameleon, looking different in various lighting but in a good way.
I loved the look of the Natural/Blue Priya rug so much in our living room in the 8'6" x 12" size that I bought a second one for our primary bedroom. I love how the rug looks with our linen upholstered bed frame that I recently wrote about in Allis Upholstered Bed Review - Alternative to Tilly or Hanson.

Style and Pattern
I prefer flatweave rugs, because I can use it as is or layer on top of a larger rug, such as a jute rug. The Loloi Priya/Amanda rug is a handwoven Oriental style pattern on a flatweave. Colors in blue, beige, and pinky-terracotta variations are muted and intentionally faded or overdyed to look vintage, but contemporary at the same time.

We had a 100% wool rug once and it shed for the entire time we had it, which was maybe almost 10 years. It was very thick and I didn't want that again.
In our living room I layered the patterned Loloi rug on top of a larger 10'x13' gorgeous woven braided jute area rug (similar), which I talk about in the post Ways to Make Your Home Feel Cozy. I absolutely love the mix of texture and pattern together.

Note:
Jute rugs will shed some, because it's a natural material made from a plant. Jute rugs also tend to have variation in color and texture, because, again, it's a plant that has been woven together. I like the variation, but you have to know what you're getting and be okay with it.
Quality and Durability
The Loloi Priya/Amanda rug is a handwoven flatweave that is a blend of wool, cotton, and polyester. The mix of natural and performance materials is to make it durable, according to Loloi.
Both the rug in our living room as well as the rug in our primary bedroom have held up very well over more than a year of use. Note that I do not use the beater bar when I vacuum the rugs, per the manufacturer instructions.
Your home may see different wear based on how you use any rug.

The listing on Wayfair says it is made of "stain resistant" materials. We have not spilled anything on either rug, so I can't speak to whether it stains or how well stains come out.
All in all, I think it is a high quality, durable rug while also being beautiful at the same time.
Cost for Value - Is the Loloi Rug Worth it?
Loloi is known for having high-quality, affordable rugs. In general, area rugs are offered at a wide range of prices. Everything from material composition to size and whether the rug is machine made or handwoven can affect the cost.
In my opinion, the Loloi Priya/Amanda rug is worth it, especially given its large size. It is not prohibitively expensive, and it is made very well, so the quality is there. It is the most expensive rug I have purchased, but I love it! Further, if the past year is any indication, these rugs should hold up for years to come.

I watched the price of the Priya/Amanda rug for quite some time, until it was on a great sale when I bought it. That's a great tip for you. Sign up for alerts and add the rug to your wishlist. Check back when you know the retailer has a sale to get the best price.
I admire the beautifully patterned rug every time I walk into either our living room or bedroom, so I am very happy.
